Don't mean to gravedig this, but since it's already at the top, and I'm hoping to bring an atheistic character here soon...

If anyone wants an in-depth on Deep Dark SatanismTM or the like, PM me, but for the record, I've got the King James, New International, New Living, and Satanic Bibles, in that order, on my top shelf. I do know what I'm talking about here.

There exist Satanic cults who want to sacrifice your cat to their dark lord. There are Satanists that spend a whole lot of time in meditation, chatting with their favourite demon for funsies. There are LaVeyan Satanists, as Nova described, who follow a path of personal improvement and don't believe in the devil at all.

Then there's my brand of witchcraft, which is screaming at the sky when it rains because I have things to do, and making sure I have all my crystals on me because we can't pass up that placebo effect.

I think we're all aiming for the latter, here.
